Just wondered if anyone had been in it yet - the bar in the new hotel by the peace gardens - is it open ? If so whats it like - is it open to non-residents ? Do they do lunches ?

It is very nice, if a little expensive.
It is open to non guests. But like I say, not cheap.
Guiness = £3.65, a Tuna Sandwich £5.95.

I was going to say the same thing. Maybe it'll become a catchphrase - 'very nice, but the Guinness costs £3.65 you know'.

Still, it keeps the riff-raff out as Basil Fawlty would say. Which, occasionally, is exactly what you want.
