charliewag 23-05-2011, 19:31 i've got a korum storm-brolli which is similar to the badger shelter (no. 1) but without the groundsheet and front flap. it's a bit awkward to put up but it's very good, especially when winter piking. make sure it has a worm drive centre spike as you can drive these into the ground for a firm hold.
koikeeper 14-06-2011, 20:34 i got rid of the umbrella and bought a day shelter lots more room and can get tackle under it too to keep dry Chub-S-Plus-Shelter

jezzybee 16-06-2011, 10:26 Day shelters are for wimps, real anglers sit in the rain.
koikeeper 16-06-2011, 10:28 realy well i must be a whimp then as i sleep in mine wen doing over night fishing stupid
alex3659 16-06-2011, 12:57 realy well i must be a whimp then as i sleep in mine wen doing over night fishing stupid
You sleep when your fishing?.:loopy::loopy:...
koikeeper 16-06-2011, 12:59 yep i dnt fish all ways thought the night my alarms on my pod are on a recevir which goes off wen i get a bite
jezzybee 16-06-2011, 13:57 Fishing with pods and alarms isn't fishing. You do more harm to the fish and other wildlife when a fish rips line off your reel and gets snagged up somewhere.
koikeeper 16-06-2011, 14:02 oh get a life heard it all before with yer if yu have nothing else to do then bug peeps with crap like that then sod off and get a life idot
jezzybee 16-06-2011, 14:31 As a match angler I know what i'm talking about and please don't call me an idiot you moron.
koikeeper 16-06-2011, 14:54 yer a dip and should know better but saying that , thats what you get wen yer a match lad like i said your a idot and no nothing
koikeeper 16-06-2011, 14:57 if you dnt like what yu read dnt reply to others threads yu stick to yer sitting on yer box with a stick in yer hand makeing as much nosie as you can and spoiling other anglers with it all
i will stick to my type of fishing as it should be in peace
koikeeper 16-06-2011, 14:59 any way i reckon yer just posting so yu can get yer post count up so yu can flog yer pole gear
harriercbx 16-06-2011, 15:15 i was allway told by my granddad if u are a match angler then you can not fish cos all you lot do is make a noise and upset all the other fisher men you go on the banks for 4 to 6hrs and **** the day up for the real fisher men
KieronJMW 16-06-2011, 15:15 I have the Chub S Plus Max Bivvy, theres so much space big enough for 2 people, even so whats wrong with doing over night sessions? thats whole part of the sport and even so more of a challenge than just sitting on a box splashing ya gear off and making more noise than you should be, over night fishing is when the real fishermen come in:hihi: should try it sometime or is it too hard? ;)
Oh and personaly id go for the shelter then you can keep ya bags ect dry

Exus Trek 17-06-2011, 15:44 Only use my brolly for keeping the tackle dry.
mmitchell 17-06-2011, 17:58 Day shelters are for wimps, real anglers sit in the rain.
i must be a wimp then :hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi:
i don`t see many real anglers sat in the rain either, so in witch category dose that put you in :D
charliewag 17-06-2011, 19:10 i'd rather be a wimp and stay dry than be a soaking wet, freezing cold macho man. a bit of summer rain isn't a problem but in winter a shelter/brolly is a must especially when you fish all day.
KieronJMW 17-06-2011, 21:52 I think even fly fishing anglers get more wet than you could ever get wet ;)
And as charliewag sayss id rather be dry than sat soaking wet all nightt specialy in the winter.
