It really matters as much as how many Catholics or Protestants there are.

Don't know, but Sheffield has a long and tolerant history of immigration, from all corners of Britain and across the globe. Hardly surprising considering the city's rapid emergence as such a major industrial force in the 19th century and then its periodic bouts of economic buoyancy in the 20th century - which have proved to be considerable pull factors.

there are quite a few muslims, it is also known as the capital as the fastest growing muslims in the UK , as there are lots of people converting to islam in sheffield

Blimey - they only wanted to know how many Muslims were in Sheffield. I wouldn't mind knowing, I live in a high muslim population area. It was a straightforward question like how many people have their milk delivered in Sheffield yet the thread already includes themes such as shooting, murder and suicide. Yikes. Calm down a bit!
