I am so happy.... I am off work for the next two weeks.... does anyone else have some time off? and apart from the obvious ( booze ) what are you going to do with your time?

Closing at noon Christmas Eve, re-opening on Wednesday 28th December thru Saturday 31st December.

Opening on Sundays for the first time in the business's history (entering its 77th year) in 2006.

That, my friends, is not an awful lot of time off.

Still, always one to try and look on the bright side of things, at least coming into work on those 3 days in between Christmas and New Year will prevent me from spending all day sitting on the lounge munching my way through selection boxes!

Finished my job last Friday - for good! So extended Christmas Holiday here - going down to London for a few days between Christmas and New Year, see the sights with the kids.

Then come January - its job hunting!

Aww - you should change jobs !

I have one day off. Its Boxing day. But my partner couldn't get it off , which means we have to come home on Christmas day anyway. Gutted! :(
I would so love to be off for 2 weeks now. It would make christmas so much more exciting!

Much to the disgust of a few work colleagues, I shall be having two weeks of this christmas. To be honest I'm sick of the bickering that goes off with regard to booking hols over the festive period. Some have short memories and forget that they've had weeks off in the summer whilst others worked through out and yet complain when they cant have christmas off also.
