Hi all,
I'm sure a lot of people have watched the Bad Girls Christmas Special tonight. It's a "ghosts and demons, exorcisms and holy water fright-fest" as the papers might say.
But it occurred to me that it's possible that, amongst those watching the show, some people might feel a bit disturbed or concerned by some of the things they've seen.
Now I know that the programme has been more than a little tongue-in-cheek, and I laughed out loud at the Padre's "exorcism" at first... but things are certainly taking a darker turn right now (I'm writing this at the break after Julie turned the knife on herself).
So what is the point I'm trying to get to? I'm sure that there are some people who watched the programme who have experienced, or maybe even are experiencing, negative spiritual things.
And what I want to say is, if that's you, and if you want it, I'm willing to help you find whatever help you need. I'm a Christian, and I believe that what the Bible says is true, and I'm part of a Church that believes that too. I genuinely believe that Jesus can change people's lives, even in the 21st Century, because he has changed mine. If you want to talk about something spiritual, or you want someone to pray with, or if you want the whole Holy Water thing - I'm offering to help you find that kind of help.
I'm not interested in starting some kind of argument and I'm not trying to force my beliefs down anyone's throat. If you think anyone who believes they're experiencing something spiritually negative is mad, then fair enough - I've had firsthand experience of mental illness as well, so if you want to ask "am I going mad?" then I'm happy to discuss that as well!
But for the person who played with the ouija board, and then things started coming true... for the person who believes they're seeing ghosts... for the person who thinks they might be possessed... if you want to talk, I'm here. PM me.
