I have done a search and couldnt find anything but apologies if this has been done before.

I know some members work for various Taxis firms.

We have a meal booked on Christmas Eve at 6.00pm, we have got a lift home but need to get there, is it worth booking in advance or would we be better off ringing on xmas eve itself, say about 5.00pm.

definitely book it now. and book it for at least thirty minutes before you need it. you'll not get through to them on the day.
