Have just watched extraordinarily moving TV programme about the wedding on 10th Dec of Gill Hicks, who lost both her legs in the London bombings. What an outstanding woman, incredibly courageous and even more remarkably, without any hatred or bitterness toward the bombers.Walked down the aisle (on her prosthetic legs) on her brothers arm. Also extremely beautiful!
Just wondered if anyone else saw this or has any thoughts to share about her story.

No I missed it, would liked to have seen it. It always humbles me to hear of things like that...people need to stop moaning about random stuff and realise the enormity of the life we've been given.

I think this may possibly the the lady featured in a programme a couple of weeks ago about " the heros of the bombings"

What really got me was the interview with a British Transport Policeman who went down the tunnel looking for survivors. He got to one of the stricken trains then got terrified at what he might see. BUT still went in. which makes him a hero, because he had the fear, the horror, the terror, but went in anyway, he admitted to nearly turning back but didn't. Courage! AND HIS ACTION SAVED PEOPLES LIVES .
