Goint to see Richard Hawley tonight. We've only recently 'discovered' him. What kind of audience does he attract?

He's a good crowd entertainer

There is a thread (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78238) here as well :)

Enjoy the gig.

Skinhead nazi punks and blood-hungry vampire goths. The usual Leadmill audience.

Oops! Me and mine are in our 50s. Will we stand out like sore thumbs?

Back from the Richard Hawley gig. Absolutely brill. Great to be able to stand and bop. Atmosphere spot on. still jiving to the Coles Corner Album (now that I've fed 'him in doors'). Just wonder why cafebar doesn't serve wine (too sophistacated?) and why the other bar hasn't discovered screw-top wine (still decent), when the bar staff seem to have a problem with corkscrews. Overall though, a great night and I'll definitely give the Leadmill another visit.

Richard was on fine form last night and I'm glad he's got some more converts to his music. Everyone from Sheffield should have some of his stuff!!

He's Sheffield and proud and absolutely wazzes all over some of the rubbish that's around at the moment!

went last nite to see richard hawley

absolutely brill!!!

really enjoyed richards quips and really beginning to think the guy's got something really special about him!!

love the way he can perform such an eclectic mix of music and appears to have a passion for a wide variety of syles rather than sticking to just one

thought his encore was brill especially the rock n roll bit

ther should be much more music like this

Well he said he lived in London at his last gig and apologised that he wasn't in Sheffield much these days..

Must have been joking :)
