ok - dunno what any of their names are... or the general plot... but band are rehearsing for a big gig that will determine whether or not they get a recording deal... bird with white hair pitches up and is disenchanted with her own record deal and tells lead singer girl - frankie? how lucky she is to be able to do her own thing.... they do gig and it goes really well... record deal man offers solo contract to frankie, says he doesnt want the band.... she says no, then yes - thinking she can change his mind... tells band they are signed - then they see the solo contract she has signed - big row, she backs a bag and leaves...

does that make sense?

I went to school with the ginger one, she's called Bryony Afferson... Not sure if she's been in anything else. Funny how she's lost her Barnsley accent!

Episode 13 Blog

It’s all gone wrong. Properly tits up. And it’s all my fault!!!

I didn’t mean it, and the girls should know me better – that I’d never do anything without them. But it’s too late now. It’s ruined. Everything is ruined!!!

It’s like this – we got that hot-shot manager bloke Tom Mercer to come and watch us do a gig at Joe’s bar. He came up to me outside afterwards and was like, you’ve got great stage presence and you can really work a crowd and all this stuff. Then he gets out this contract thing and is like ‘when can you sign? But, I don’t want your backing band, I only want you.’

Can you believe that? I was like, Ok then, but I bet I can talk you into signing the rest of the band. I know for a fact that I would have been able to talk him round. I mean, it’s not like I’d go behind their backs or anything.

But that Sammi has been hanging around recently. She’s all ‘ooh you’re so lucky having a band, having each other’ and going on about how since she won Famemaker she can’t cut her hair or do anything she wants. She reckons it’s ruined her life, but now she’s gone and ruined ours too.

See, she was at the gig talking to Tom, he must have told her about me and so she tells Neve. Who went mental! And Charlie believed I’d stitched them all up as well. So that was it. If they really thought I could do something that low….I just packed my stuff up and walked out. And now I feel like such an idiot.

Why did I sign in the first place? I should have realised how that would look to the others. But I just couldn’t face telling them he only wanted me. They want this just as much as I do, and I thought if I signed I could get it all sorted. Get them a deal as well.

And now it just looks like I’ve been dead selfish. Maybe I am. I don’t know. And what’s going to happen to me? I’ve signed with this guy now. Say if he takes over my life, like what’s happened to Sammi.

It’s all gone really wrong and I don’t know what I’m going to do next. Tash xx
