Not so, most artists gets peanuts from record sales, most of their money is made through other avenues, touring, etc. Shayne will be used and abused, then thrown aside once sales drop... like most before him... very few actually make it beyond one or two records. The ones that will lose thousands upon thousands of pounds through piracy of this track is The Music Industry. That's why they squeal so loudly... and futilely... they see that their cash-cow is slowly dying! :) Kazaa and Limewire are only the tip of the iceberg! There are many less risky sources... Wait until encoded P2P becomes widespread, they won't know what's hit them! Not that I endorse piracy in any way, naturally! ;) |
