I am asking on behalf of a friend who has buyed an item from this site on the 1st of december,&even tho it was sopose to be at her home in 5days she still not got the item. Now i never hear of this site untill tonight as she been to my house to see if i can help.
Far as i know she email them more then 5 times and no reply.rang every day this week and all she gets is a message saying the lines are busy please call back (i have tried on my home phone and i get the same message) she left messages to them to ring her back to sort it out and still no reply.
She only got two email stateing that in one the item is being sorted and second email saying her payment has gone through no problems item will be with her in 5days.

She has email the adress on the site and rang the only number
too that i can only see on the site with no reply.
So has anyone eles used this site befor and had any problems with them at all or has she used a dodgy site.

Never heard of it. But is it a UK-based site subject to UK or European law in which case she could write to Consumer Direct (www.consumerdirect.gov.uk) for advice and a referral to her local trading standards department which in my experience is far more effective than making a direct contact. In the case of Sheffield Trading Standards I have found they dont usually bother to reply to emails and their phone lines are either constantly engaged or they dont bother to answer the phone.

You say "This Site"..... this is not ebay. If your friend made a transaction that was purely a personal thing.

your friend must have used a debit or credit card for this transaction.... if it was a credit card then your friend is insured for the loss of goods not recieved or recieved in a "shoddy condition"..... It is a good idea to set up a paypal account on the net to buy goods as they can track your vendor and insure you for up to £500 on purchases.

If your friend has paid by debit card over the net then your friend might as well kiss goodbye to His/Her money as it is the same as giving cash to a masked robber.

When you refer to "this site", do you mean "IWantItCheaper.com (http://iwantitcheaper.com/)"? You don't want to be giving SF a bad name, do you?
