I have no idea when this started but I have become addicted to cups of tea with evaporated milk instead of tea. This has given me a little knowlege about different types of evap and I suggest people keep off that low cal stuff cos it just does not have the same flavour.

Anyone else found a silly addiction - as well as to sheffield forum that is ;)

Instead of milk you mean? God, that makes me want to vomit. You will be starting on condensed milk next then sterilised cream..........................I feel ill..............get Dragon therapy................QUICKLY...................

Cloudy - nothing wrong with condensed milk. Not tried it in tea. Now there is something to experiment with. I'll keep you posted.

My evap addiction is contageous cos now my son prefers tea with evap rather than milk

fussells condensed milk on bread used to eat that when i was a kid also called it stores milk a lot of kids used to have it like that

I love tea with evaporated milk. Evaporated milk makes almost anything taste really nice. Has anyone ever tried crushed ginger nuts with evaporated milk on? :D

Why do they call it "Evaporated milk" when the cans full?

My grandma used to give me this on tinned peaches. It was that Fussells stuff. She used to shake the tin to make it thicker????

I never liked Carnation. Between me and my friends, carnation and tinned peaches was known as peaches with bird ****

I know there is condensed and evaporated milk, but Im not sure which is which.
