View Full Version : What's your favourite aftershave? moimoi 01-03-2004, 16:01 following on from a similar topic for the ladies i wondered what aftershave ladies like the smell of and what aftershave do you guys wear which the ladies have liked?? Classic Rock 01-03-2004, 16:04 Drakkar Noir does it for me! RPG 01-03-2004, 16:17 Dunno if its liked by anyone female I know, but I like Hugo Boss and Higher: Dior  *Twinkle* 01-03-2004, 16:20 I bought Chris Dolce and Gabana... Mmm its gorgeous!!! Pauly 01-03-2004, 16:23 I've never bought any aftershaves for myself, they've all been bought by girlfriends for Christmas or whatever. I have in my possession (in order of purchase): CKOne Chanel Allure for Men Joop (which I've never used) Jean Paul Gaultier My two favourites are the Chanel and the Gaultier. :) angel_b 01-03-2004, 16:56 Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier is the best aftershave ever - I never get sick of smelling it and my other knows he's guaranteed to get jumped on when he wears it! I've also worn it myself occasionally. It smells just as good on me, and unlike the majority of perfumes, doesn't give me a raging headache. I also quite like Crave by Calvin Klein and Emotion by Hugo Boss. AngelEyes 01-03-2004, 18:23 Pauly I would recommend you wear the joop - it is really lovely!! The armani ones are also good!! Not smelt Jean Paul Gaultier for men but i've just finished using the womens version and that is very nice! saxon51 01-03-2004, 18:27 Bell's whisky. Makes shaving fun. DaBouncer 01-03-2004, 18:40 Originally posted by RPG Dunno if its liked by anyone female I know, but I like Hugo Boss and Higher: Dior  Got both of those... except my Higher is Higher Energy by Christian Dior. I'm also into Fahrenheit by Dior:thumbsup: mr craig 01-03-2004, 18:44 Originally posted by AngelEyes I would recommend you wear the joop - it is really lovely!! Aint that the truth,i should be sponsored by them!! LOL :D EDIT:- BTW,i am taking notes, lol  Andy78 01-03-2004, 19:52 Issey Miyake all the way. RPG 01-03-2004, 21:30 Originally posted by DaBouncer Got both of those... except my Higher is Higher Energy by Christian Dior. DaBouncer 02-03-2004, 07:19 Originally posted by RPG I thought Higher Energy smelt a bit off  But everyone else loves it  LOL... I (and the missus especially) thought it was excellent. I used to use the normal Higher... but when this came out and she smelt it.... she recommended it... so I thought why not! Caprice.... I'm shocked it Fahrenheit gives you headache... but I suppose you cant please everyone. GazB 02-03-2004, 07:30 In my possesion I have (if I can remember them all): Jean Paul Gautier- Le Male (My best) 1 large bottle of Burberry Touch 1 Small bottle of Burberry Touch 1 Large bottle of CKOne 1 Small bottle of CKOne CK Be Emporio Armani for men Paco Rabanne- Ultraviolet (Close 2nd best) CK Escape DKNY (The white, square-ish one) DKNY for men (That's its name I think) (I'm sure there are more, can't remember them all!). One I used to love was Tommy Hilfiger for men, it was probably my best! I think my obsession for smelling nice by getting so many aftershaves is nearly as bad as my obsession for trainers :? Lickable 02-03-2004, 09:22 Dolce and Gabana... oh yeah... on me that is! The womens D&G is great too... on a woman... especially my Miki! ;) steelblade 02-03-2004, 09:24 Cool Water for men is gorgeous. I wear D&F Feminine which is nice and subtle. moimoi 02-03-2004, 09:58 blimey - thanks for all the replies  so many different choices i thought they'd be a definative choice but alas i'm not that much better off knowing what to get :help: i think jean paul gaultier seems quite popular on here i've got Issey Miyake at the minute and actually when i bought it the lady at the shop said that IM and JPG seemed to be the most popular :P Babooshka 02-03-2004, 10:40 Yeah RPG Hugo Boss is just so darn sexy...in particular that Boss in Motion (the round, grey bottle). I also like Minotaur by Paloma Picasso, and Armani (which is quite an old one now but came in a green bottle with a black top). All very understated scents but my nostrils can't get enough!!! moimoi 02-03-2004, 10:47 women do really go for the nice smells on men don't they! |
