I think Catherine Tate is pretty decent, however like most British comedy nowadays, it is VERY repetetive.

No, she's rubbish. Incredibly irritating rubbish too.
Bill Hicks and Blackadder re-runs for me.

A while ago whilst having my hair done a male hairdresser was really praising catherine tate.
He said she was absolutley brilliant etc
I thought id give it a try and tuned in to one of her shows.

Totally over rated. Unfunny in my oppinion
Couldn't find one thing to laugh at.

I think she's pretty good from what I've seen but have to agree about the repetitiveness; catchphrase comedy is always going to be that way though.

I cant say I find her stuff funny, little britain is similar but I think that works as you have a paradoxial element of men dressing as women, which is always funny amazingly enough :hihi:

Its ok, will suffer the same fate as harry enfield and the fast show... a lack of new ideas means the same scenes just in different settings.

just hope she realises when its time to chuck in the towel.

Nope, I don't find her funny either. Infact when she was on The Royal Variety Performance I thought it was embarrassing.

I thought her performance at the Royal Variety Performance, was fantastic- I couldnt believe she was doing that to the queen.. absolutely mental- the queen looked as though she was enjoying it though- good on her :)

The xmas special last night was a bit poo though to be fair, only nan and Lauren stood out again for me.

Have to agree with you swanny.I also found her perfomance embarrassing. Everyone thought the queen was laughing, but she just looked confused to me.I beleive shes just another branch of Little Britain.Everyone will tire of them both soon. Not my type of humour at all.:suspect:
