As long as you dont go into that yates oppoiste rumours , i went in there few weeks back when there for a 21st weekend.Scary pub to the extreme,its one of them stare at the floor so you dont make eye contact with anybody!

If I hear of a house party I'll be going to that but I have no plans at present. I prefer to stay out of town at New Year as there's too much pressure to find a snogging partner for midnight and I'd rather not play that game. ;)

I lived in Blackpool for 3 years and worked a few months in that Yates's. I don't remember it being that bad but maybe it's changed a little since 1997.

I'll be in Teddington, South London at my Brother's for New Year... We're coming back home on Bank Holiday Monday though cos Dad goes back to work on the Tuesday.

Fuel was great last night by the way. Got very drunk and had a great laugh. No creepy buggers staring. :D

All you lucky people going out New years eve, I will be at home studying ready for a photo shoot on New years day I will be out and about round ladybower dam at 06:00am I need some early morning photos then over the woodhead thats if it is not blocked with snow. To do somemore photos of the other dams at the manchester side. mind you it does help that I cant drink anymore as my drinking days are finnished so I wont be proping the bar up in the fat cat or the bankers draft or the dove and rainbow oh how I miss going for 2 gallons of real ale.

Hi redrobbo, just seen your comment on the above thread you say you will be going over the snake pass, well I would make sure that it is open before you go to it as I have been up there today with a mate who drives one of the big breakdown lorries and we got stopped there is quite a bit of snow up where we was and as there is a very lot more snow due on friday. they do say that there will be very bad drifting due to the strong winds what will be here as well. so all I ask you is just make sure that it is open we should hate to lose you out in the bad weather.

Well... a change in my plans now! nobikejohn and I will not now be going out on New Years Eve after all! Instead, we'll be getting an early nights sleep, as we are now meeting bigkev at 07.00 on New Years Day, and joining him on his photographic trip to see the sun rising over Ladybower.
