i heard there has been a shooting at white swan in greenhill village, any info ?

ive heard that its a male and hes been shot in the leg, this only what i have heard tho.

I drove past the swan at about 10.30, and wondered what was going on. The place was swarming with police, they'd cordoned off the carpark at the side. Hope everyones ok.

I was walking past at about 21.40 and there were police everywhere. Greenhill main road was closed to the roundabout and there was police tape cordoning off the pub.

I heard one police officer saying to another that they "didn't know how serious the injury was". I heard another officer being asked by a passer-by whether there was a gun involved; the officer told them that there was.

The police were all gone and the area was back to normal when I walked back at about 22.05.

Apparently its all based around drugs. from what i heard, 3 or 5 Asian lads gone in wearing balaclava's with a shotgun and shot him in the leg. This Lad that got show was white, early to mid twenties from what i heard. All roumers at this point

I think Daven posted with more than a hint of sarcasm! as usually people do refer to Lowedges when there is trouble usually.

Right it was 2 guys one waited outside and the other went into the swan with a gun shot a guy in the leg and ran off with the other guy waiting out side it seems to have been a target shooting so no one else were in any danger. thats all thats to it. the Swan is still as safe as its always been the police said this is the first time theyre ever been called to the swan.

"That's all that's to it"????? you make it sound like it's nothing more than a scuffle between them . At the end of the day a firearm was involved which makes it potentially dangerous for anyone in the pub at the time

He was subsequently conveyed to hospital where he was treated and is now in a stable condition. His injuries are not life threatening.

Seriously though, it's getting ridiculous that guns are becoming more prevelent in our society, and obviously easier to get hold of and use with little deterrence from the courts.

The last time Niche was ever involved in a shooting, which occured outside and was a driveby, was back in 2004, almost a decade ago!!!

Limit had an incident in 2006, which was also OUTSIDE, but then @ Vibe and then Niche on Charter Row, know knowledge of any shootings ever!!! Shooting outside DQ last year.

Even Totley had a shooting last year!!!
