Hiya just filling a form out and i need my VIN number! Where will I find this in my car?

under the bonnet bolted onto the chassey there should be a metal plate with some details on, it shoudl be there!

It stands for vehicle identification number :D

As scott said,it's usually to be found in the engine bay.Also on some cars(BMW etc.),the VIN numbers etched on the windscreen.

It should be on the log book.

On some Escorts it's in the little gap in the carpet between driver's seat and door.
