I'm wanting to buy a new perfume but not sure which to get, i'm considering the new J Lo one called Still but not smelt it yet. What do you recommend? Guys are welcome to respond with what fragrances they like on a woman - if they know the names of any that is!!! Lol :P

I don't know much about this sort of thing, but why would you be considering a perfume if you haven't smelt it yet??

davidoff cool water for women is wonderfull for a light day time scent and jean paul gautier is definatly my fave for a more sensuous evening scent.

Its friday night so I better go put some on!

Perfume is definatly the easiest way to feel about 200% more sexy than before with the least effort. It certainly beats trying to attach false eye lashes. Any tips? I allways end up with then all askew!

I've noticed over the years that my own favourite perfumes are different from the ones that other people seem to like on me.

Personally, I prefer Chanel's Coco, Cacharel's Lou Lou Blue, and Dolce & Gabbana's original perfume.

But I've received the most compliments on my perfume when I've been wearing either Calvin Klein's Escape or Eternity.

Anyone else find similar differences?

It always been Jean paul gauiter for me - Ive taken to customising it with a little Paul Smith.

I believe it makes me a way out in front of the rest of you. Its a very skillful process and can go hideously wrong if not done with a certain amount of knowledge and finesse.

I've always loved christian Dior on a woman - I have a dior radar.

Remembe,r you heard it here first, custom fragrancing by Mini Minch of Paris, Rome and Parsons cross

Me too - D&G original - yummy!

Absolutely LOVE the look of Thierry Mugler's Angel, and feel I should love the smell of it too (based as it is on chocolate, apparently?), but for some reason it doesn't work on me :(

I wear Angel by Thierry Mugler most of the time (and that's usually when other people comment on how nice it is) and Gucci Envy or O de Lancome occasionally.

For men, the best smell in the world is Givenchy Gentleman. Mmmmmmmmm!

I used to love the original Belles de Ricci perfume - the one in the green bottle with the pink top. Hard to get hold of now though.

My absolute favourite, and the one I wear nearly all the time is Nina by Nina Ricci. Very hard to get hold of - I have to rely on friends visiting France, or buy online!

Yeah I originally bought it in France, and have ordered it online since. Although I also know that you can get all of them from the fragrance hall in Harrods :)

D&G original
Gucci Rush

Id like my husband to get me some new perfume for Christmas. Can any one suggest any strong long lasting perfumes? Everything I spray on seems to vanish in an hour. I quite like Pure Poison but my best mate at work wears it all the time.
