Someone told me that the Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant which is situated just off the Moor in Sheffield has closed down for good.

Does anyone know if there's any truth in it?

I went to try and a book a table there the other day and it was nothing but a shell. Builders working on it. So maybe just a refit?
Would be a real shame if it's closed for good. The food there was great if I remember rightly.

I heard that it has closed down but has been bought by somebody else and after a refurb will reopen as a chinese restaurant.

Hope so - there can never be too many good chinese restaurants around for me!

Used to get the bus into town aged about 13 go to the underground bar to watch the bela lugosi vid then to woolies to look at the 7" singles,on to golden dragon for kids 3 courser (99p). wolf that then onto the lane for the match.bliss!
