Anyone now about this product, that is enviromentally friendly and is made from vegetable oil.

Got given a leaflet about it.

Sounds good.:)

I saw it demonstrated on a motoring programme once. I don't think they just poured it in the tank though. They did something to either the oil or the engine first.

Bought some today for 70p a litre, well smart.

It is not bio diesel it`s Biofuel made from vegetable oil and then put through a process that takes several weeks and the product you can buy and put into your car.

Much better for the atmosphere and people stood by the car no poisionous fumes.

You have got to try it if you have a diesel car.

Yes there should be more of it... with much less tax on in too I should add.

You can make it yourself as well - great if you run a chip shop I guess! There was a lot of people in north Wales making their own. They found that Asda's giant vege oil bottles were the cheapest. Then the police clamped down (standing at the side of the road to see which cars smelt faintly of chip fat!) because even if you make your own, you must still pay the appropriate amount of tax on it!

You can`t make it yourself as ordinary veg oil has to be treated and filltered as otherwise it will not work.

It`s not something you can make from chip shop veg fat either.
