Going down on friday and need to put bags somewhere whlist we go for a dance at a nightclub. There will be quite a few so doubt we can hand them in to the cloakroom. Gonna be leaving london once we get out of the club in the morning about 6AM.
Anybody know if there are lockers in the train stations to keep stuff overnight?

NO lockers at all to be had, on any train station across the country, I believe...
something to do with the dange of "terrorists" using them to store "bombs" and it all being a huge safety risk.
:(
you can hand stuff in at the left luggage place on St Pancras station, but it'll cost ya about a fiver...
:( :(

There's quite a cheap 24 hour left luggage place at Victoria coach station too.
Last time I was down there (pre 7/7) Euston had a left luggage office as well which cost a few quid.
Daft as it sounds, do you need to take so much baggage down with you if you're only going for a night and not actually sleeping there?

We put luggage in the Left Luggage at Kings Cross after the 7/7 bombings
It costs £5.50 per item but not sure of the opening times, they were strict bout it too!
Theres also one at St Pancras which i think is £5.00.

My best mate and I went to London in Feb 2004, eighteen months, almost, before the 7/7 bombings
We left our lugggage just for a couple of hours in the Left Luggage Office, at St Pancras Station, and it cost us a fiver each per case for our cases.
They were astoundingly meticulous in checking the cases, even THEN (!!!!) and x-rayed them and all-sorts.
We were quizzed about whether there was anything metallic in the case, and we had to show them the travel alarm clock I had with me, to prove it wasn't conected to anything dodgy, erm... like "plastique!" lol

I'm going back home in the morning, not back to sheffield. It's not that I can't decide what to wear.
Thanks again everyone, hopefully sort it all out when I get down.
