Some we cut up for tags for next years presents, some we save for the kids to use to make cards for next year, some go to school (they use them for making advent calenders etc) and the odd bits left over get recycled :)

We also make our own prezzie tags from them and throw the rest in the blue bin.

My daughter had a go at making her own advent calendar using cards once - wasn't bad either.

My mum always shoves the one's she get's from the family in a drawer. For the past three years my Dad has sent my Mum the same card! He just re-seal's the envelope and hands it to her...

She's none the wiser... She just think's he buys similar card's in bulk. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

(True Story)

My brother and his girlfriend do the same.
She says she's not buying a new card until she has to get one with husband on it.

I save the "special" ones, until next year, the rest go in the blue bin.

I hate having to throw them out lol.

I would like to start recycling them but i like copying the pictures off them first.
I think now that theres a blue bin they will be going in there.
I allways keep the ones from my mum dad and brothers though.

I looked at a womble picture today and they actually seem quite freaky.

I noticed alot of kid toys these days are quite freaky, those pot dolls, dolls full stop, with there freaky eyes that open when they sit up, then there clowns which im not gonna even get into. And im sorry but MR BLOBBY now seems extremly weird.
*Shivers*
Freaky toys.

I keep all the family cards. In fact, (this is really really sad!) I have all my birthday and christmas cards from being about 7 years old!! I now have mothers day cards too from the kids. I just can't bring myself to throw them away :(
