Did anyone else go and see this at City Hall last night? It was the funniest show I have seen all year. I won't post any of the details yet in case other forummers are going tonight or tomorrow but, if you are, trust me you will laugh your a.s off. Read somewhere that this may be their last tour - so glad I managed to catch it. Hello Dave.....

Me and a group of mates went. It is the funniest thing I have seen in YEARS!!!! The second half was my favourite! We all want to go again! I am now the proud owner of a Pauline Pen which I am going to wear round my neck all day at work today!!

It was fab!!!! So funny!! We were a bit worried, as we love the series, but we didnt reckon much to the movie, but the live show was absolutely hilarious. I wanted a Pauline Pen, but my partner wouldnt buy me one:( Did anyone see that really young boy on the front fow (about 5 years old) , he had a Hello Dave t shirt on, and the cast kept waving to him, thought he was a bit young though, for all that language!! That bit when Heir lip spat red wine over front row was brilliant!!!. Would def go again:clap:

Saw it last night. It picked up a lot in the 2nd half, after a rather short 1st half.

Best characters were Pauline (and her pens) and Papa Lazarou!

I saw this last night and was very disappointed. The pantomine approach didn't work very well, though it did have its moments.

Even my die-hard League of Gentlemen mate said they should call it a day (which they are if I understand correctly).

I reckon that after 7 / years it's only fair to let Spent / Roysten Vasey and its townsfolk go out with a parody of themselves.

The idea of a panto was quite inspired IMO. It was probably the only way left to extract anything out of the characters, and it swent up the theatre education that brought the LoG together in the first place.

A good show!

I absolutely loved it!

I saw them last time they came to Sheffield too and I much preferred this show.

When they first did a tour they did lots of sketches straight off their series, which was good but I think the panto theme was brilliant!

Although they are calling it a day I heard they will still be working together on future projects? Is this true anyone?

Cant wait to see them again proffesional brilliance.
notice how quick they went in to their next guise .
and in the puff of smoke thing as well. under our very noses.

Only thing that put me off was , we were in the balcony and it was so bl---y draughty.
I nipped to the bar for a warming drink to take in and missed Iris , one of my favourite characters and then it was the interval
oh and if they do come again i will make sure i dont get a seat next to the stairs as my view was very much restricted by the high safety bar thing.
Despite all this it was the best show ive ever seen .

Also noticed what great legs mark gattis has lol.
