I am going to the comedy club at roundhouse on saturday night. about 10 of us.
Ideally I would like us all on the same table, but they seem to be a bit vague. like you cant allocate a table etc. was it right.? as I have been told different stories. we are planning on arriving for about 8pm. I phoned up today for a extra ticket, and was meant to ask table question but forgot.
So I phoned Ponds forge tonight. and she was addament. you sit where you can. basically. I dont want that!!!!
hope its' worth it in the end.

Hi beth 29,

looking forward to saturday, you will be sat in a group for your party, trust me on this one.

WHen you arriver you will be greeted at the door by the show manager who will have a table plan which will have been drawn up to best accomodate all the parties who are coming that night.

dont froget to talk to the DJ/tech operator in the box at theback, (thats me)

They do tend to find it difficult to communicate to customers on that Hallam FM Arena booking line. The only serious mistake we've made is letting them handle the bookings. We're changing that in the new year. Of course you can sit with the rest of your party, that's teh idea of the night.

Hope you enjoy it, there are great acts booked!

I ordered a extra ticket. I booked it through ponds forge. I had to ring them up again this morning.
to double check where the extra ticket will be. they dont seem to have a clue. they were sending me to pick the ticket up at ponds forge before 6.30pm.
but we are not arriving til 8pm.
after half an hour confusing me. we can pick up on the door. I just hope we can do that. I dont want to be running around. xx

How exciting!

I started work there last thursday - really enjoying it. Some great acts and tasty grub make for a jolly good night out. Suppose I would say that tho... :D

Looking forward to seeing you all there on Saturday - I'll be behind the bar. Maybe get myself onto the sexy bar staff thread...? :hihi:

You do get people wearing jeans but there's been a lot of christams dos lately so people have been nice and spangly.

Plus it turns into a disco when the comedy's finished and it's always nice to dress up for a disco.

I was under the impression that the food was included in the deal, not an optional extra.

But then again our night out was organised by someone else.:partyhat: :partyhat: :partyhat:

according to the website about it, you have to pay extra.

I've just had a nosey at the website & I couldn't find anything that mentioned food was extra:confused:

beth29

I have paid £15. a ticket.
I have just phoned ponds forge and food is not included.
we have to pay nearly £5.00 if we want food.!!

Foxprom

£15 tickets at the last laugh do not include food, some people have booked a christmas package deal that was more money that did include food
A decision was made that not everyone wanted food so it was made an optinal extra, food is all freshly made simply fair like pie mash peas and hendos relish, sauage and mash, jacket pots with cheese, chilli and other toppings giant hot dogs etc....
have a look when you get inside
the £15.00 buys you admission and 3 top comics and a compere who provide up to 3 hrs of entertainment. as well as the disco thrioiugh till 1.00 am if you want it

You can only just get in the cinema for that WE ARE TALKING LIVE ENTERTAINMENT REAL PEOPLE and REAL SWEAT on their brows

I went on 7th Dec with work. We were just a small party of 7 of us - and the rest of the place was taken over by the Staples Office Party Xmas Do.

It was hilarious, the first and last comedians were great and picked on the Stapels lot no end.

Would definitely go back again.
