ditto here too. There are far too many anomalies to make it a cut and dry case.
I personally think they are more concerned with loosing tourists $'s than finding the real criminal. Just think what a lone killer stalking the outback would do to their tourist industry.
Admirably Murdoch is no saint and that’s why its easy to convict him, but we've all been down this road once

That's why they have a jury system, to hear the evidence and make a judgement as to innocence or guilt. In this case the jury, who incidentally heard all the evidence not just tabloid headlines, unanimously found him guilty on both counts.

tbh i think he did do it, but i think there is something funny about Joanne Lees!!
I hope (if murdoch did do it) he will have the decensy to tell Peters family where his body is so they can grieve properly and help them get on with their lives.
What gets me about all this though is that the jury only took 8 HOURS to come to their decision.
Juries have been known to deliberate for a lot longer over cases that are much more 'cut and dry' than this one ever was.
I'm just glad I didn't put money on it when I told a colleague this morning (before hearing the news obviously) that the jury would 'be out for days' :)
