Hi guys

I am looking for tunes on Limewire, that you hear in clubs when very very drunk. You know the ones I am talking about. I'm on about the mixed, trance/dance versions of older tunes for eg: "Hard For Me To Say I'm Sorry" by Chicago. C'mon, you know the ones! The one's that start off as 'normal' then gointo the dance version and get everyone jumping around and shouting the words...!

Try looking for anything with "euro mix", "nrg" or "hi nrg" in the listing - that should get you started.

Note to mods - not that I'm condoning illegal downloads, of course. Please only use legal sites.

Oh of course, did I say Limewire?! Sorry I meant a totally different site, which unfortunately I cannot mention for legal reasons!

But I will of course give that a try and hope for the best!!

How about "Fading Like a Flower" by Dancing DJs feat Roxette. There's 3 or 4 mixes but the Friday Night Posse Remix is the best one.

I'll be checking back regularly cos I'd like to get hold of some more of these tracks as well :)

Of course the other thing to do is just search for the song title you are thinking of and add the word "mix" to the end of the search box - that should find all remixes of a given tune.

Also very true, but I am unsure of what songs I want...! It's just when you're out and you hear stuff, then totally forget the song?!! U know what I mean?! I am sure I will think of some tunes, but any help on here would be cool. Just in the need of a partty I think.

I am being so sad tonight. Opened a bottle of wine to myself, and more or less finished it now, still feeling poop tho!

The tune I am listening to at the mo is "Empty Skies" by Kosheen (altho I do have iTunes on ramdom! LOL) but that's what is one at the mo!!

On a tangent (because it's punkish rather than dance), I came across I never promised you a rose garden, the old Lynn Anderson (I think) song, recorded by the Suicide Machines (I think, again). It had me hooked for ages :)

A friend of mine used to do a great mix of Wonderwall with some trance stuff but he never recorded it that I know of

I know of a few yeah. One good one is the first one I mentioned, the one by Chicago but I am trying to find it on my itunes (because it doesn't come under chicago) and Kingston Town by UB40 there's a good mix of that. My friends know a few too and have a few of them, which I MUST track down!! X

"Rose garden" is a decent track, but not exactly what I am asking about on here, but a decent track never the less!

There was a very well-known happy hardcore tune several years back called "Hold Me Now" that used the lyrics from that Chicago tune. It was a regular in sets by DJ Vibes. :thumbsup:

I'm not sure if anyone ever gave it a "Flip n Fill" style remix and made it into a chart dance tune though.
