Spectacular Musical Ensemble all the way from Russia!

I was so amazed at how fantastic this unaccompanied choir were when I saw them a couple of years ago that I'm organising a return visit for them to Crookes! Please pass on to anyone you think might be interested.

The Hermitage Ensemble are a professional ensemble from St Petersburg, Russia, and they will be performing a concert of Russian Sacred Hymns and Folk Songs a cappella. Join us for a unique and fantastic musical treat live in Crookes!

Well Crookes is not quite St Petersburg but they do travel well! :-)

Are they the ones who performed at St Andrew's Church, on Hanover Way about four years ago? if so, they were blimmin fantastic. The Basso Profundo was just excellent, and the whole evening was amazing.

I don't know if it was the same ones but more than likely - they do a tour of English churches every spring.
