I want to change to one that has a usb input but i like the way mine works from controls on the steering colum.
Can anyone recomend a cheapish stereo that has a usb inpyt and will connect to the steering colum. Im looking for something i can fetch from a shop rather that online though.
Ta :)

To enable the steering column controls requires a separate wiring connector which you have to pay for in addition to the radio. I suggest you speak to a dealer who can give you a proper idea

Ive spoken to the dealer and they were quite helpful.
But expensive which is why im looking for an aftermarket stereo with the bit on it so i can plug my steering colum controls into it.
Thanks :)

You can usually buy an adapter, but only certain brands will have the port on the back for it. Usually Sony are compatible.

I should have been clearer , I was referring to a car audio dealer rather than Renault , Halfords is the obvious choice but I know there are others who will be able to advise. A few years back I did the same to my Scenic and the cost of the extra cable was around £20 , and the stereo wasnt exactly a top of the range one , maybe around £110
