February, 2045....Spacesuits, 20's Bar Nuevo West Street, Sheffield.

ZIG Wonder what it was like before The Megatronic Moor was
covered over and self-climatised?

BIVVO Must have been really ninky and chipping, pal. Really
cold, like. And wet.

ZIG You cannot imagine it now. I mean what about before we
had the Gigapark up at Parkwood Springs? Just where did
folks go, like, for fun?

BIVVO I suppose it was in the dark-days before the three-day
weekend when folks lived simple existences, pal. And
they had the old M1 thing that stopped at Great Tinsley
near the twin Super Chimneys.

ZIG Great tourist attraction they are. Easy to get to on the
Supermonorail. Glad they renovated
them. Pal, fancy another Litre of Old Hooch?

BIVVO Why not, Uncle. Ninky tackle. Nice traditional stuff. I so
much like real alcopop bars.

ZIG Going down to The Adidas Stadium to see the footo on
Friday afts?

BIVVO Yeah, Uncle. Course. It's the Dynamites versus The
Manchester Dream. Got my red and blue striped scarf
ready.

ZIG I was reading an advert in the Sheffield Electro Star.
Interesting, it was. Real Corky, Spiv.

BIVVO What about, pal? Sale still on at DFS?

ZIG No, Uncle. Not that. Council are asking for donations to
pay off the debt for some student games or something
they had here last century.

BIVVO Another one, Spiv?

ZIG Yeah, and get me twenty Superspliffs as well, here's the
coinage.

BIVVO Right on, Uncle.

Would that be Euros then?

Anyone had any Euros yet by the way - my daughter has two that she must have been given in her small change.

Anyone got any useful informative links to educate the rest of us as to what 1 Euro equals and so on?

Something else for me to play around with and annoy the kids as they form an orderly line behind me in the hope of being able to use this computer!!!!!!!!!

No the Euro became obsolete in 2019 just after China joined the EU.

The Earth Unit (EU) became official ' Third Rock' tender in December of the same year.

One EU being equal to approximately £0.53.

Describe a typical day for yourself in 2025 - a week day commuting to work and back.

Three day weekend?

Not unless the Socialists came into power.
