hi

Been looking for a medieval re-enactment group to join, but most of the ones i've found seem to be inactive. Anyone know any that are still alive and kicking?

Try asking at the universities/Student unions. You don't have to be a student to join their societies

Edit: or ring conisbrough castle and ask who does their displays ;)

There's one uses St Augustines Church Hall on Brocco Bank. Don't have much other details.

My fencing club's there on Thursday nights so if you're passing you could probably pop in and have a look at their notices.

lol - there's a blast from the past - i used to have a right laught in the early nineties with knights in battle, the burgundians (my group), and so many others whose names i wish i could remember

getting peased round camp fire at night, then getting up in the morning, getting kitted out, and hitting each other - brilliant fun!

clank!
