Household waste, you can't use your green bin for dog poo :)

I'd never flush it down the loo, it's needs to be sealed & put in wheelie bin :)

Here are a couple of websites which recommend the same

I have a dog loo sunken in the garden. It is supposed to be environmentally friendly, and you add some kind of enzymes to break down the poo, then flush it out every few weeks. Have only just started using it, so early days, but have to say, much easier to put it in there than to mess around with poo bags/buckets, etc. I like not having to put it in the black bin, as can't be nice for the binmen.

I put my dog's poo in sealed poo bags in the normal household wheelie bin, the same place that mothers of babies put their soiled disposable nappies.
In Sheffield the rubbish from these bins go to a giant incinerator, it's the most hygienic way to dispose of it.

Tie it up in a poop bag and put it in the regular waste (black bin).

Poo bags in the garden burner and burnt with the garden waste that won't compost.

i must admit i used to put it dawn the loo but it used to block the toilet up
so i put mine in the wheelie bin
i have conciderd the one that is sunken into the ground but 4 dogs soon to
be 5 with my 3rd guide dog with cleaning up after them dont know if it would
be to much for it

in a nappy bucket to soak and disperse in water and safe4, then down the drain - no solids, no blockages, no non-eco use of plastic bags - rinsed down with the urine collection from the dog toilet, then all flushed with rain water

we've got one of those garden dogloos that never got fitted

If you must put it in the black bin, which i do, just use a wheelie bin liner, no need to bag it up using extra plastic bags.

Then again my pooch always ****s in the garden before i will walk her.

Was just gonna post about this. Had problems with the bin men refusing to empty ours due to the weight. This is largely down to going to fortnightly collections and having the waste from 4 dogs and multiple cats. What am I SUPPOSED to do with it?

Our 4 x dogs and 4 cats poo, goes into the black wheelie bin. I also have 2 large rabbits, so their hutch produces quite alot of extra waste, we are having to take a trip to the local council tip, approximately once a month, now since the fortnightly collections started. A small inconvenience for having the luxury of owning pets, I guess.

Another eco solution is worm composting

I'm afraid you'll have to google that one as I haven't actually tried it myself

Poop picked up using food bags as "gloves", put in carrier bags in no primark paper bags available then put in black wheely bin night before collection. :hihi:

I had one of those too. Very useful, but I only had one small dog. Don't know what their 'capacity' might be or whether they come in different sizes. I had a quick look and there are wildly varying prices on-line but this was the cheapest I saw. All seemed to be the same size.

I pick each one up in a normal poo bag. They all go into a carrier bag which i tie the handles of and just put it in the black bin the night before collection.

Or sometimes if i know i'm walking in the direction of a poo bin when i go out, i take the carrier bag and put them all in the poo bin. If anyone mugged me, they'd be sorry!!

For the one a week that any dog does on my garden - then it's bagged and into the black wheelie bin.(If we didn't have visiting dogs there would never be any to pick up).
