England will progress to the second round second place in group B.

They will then lose to Germany in the second round.

A fun world cup.

Have you read England's comments?
"Oh we want to avoid Germany."

If we want win the world cup then we shouldn't be thinking like that! :loopy:

We will draw undeservedly with Sweden, scrape a victory against Trinidad and win comfortably in a dull game against Paraguay.

If England win the group, then I think we potentially face the likes of Portugal, Argentina and Brazil in that half of the draw

However, if we finish second in the group we potentailly face Germany and the Netherlands in the other side of the draw;)

Which would you prefer?

"Liverpool" should read "Spain"

Not sure if this is Spyro2000,s way of predicting is winner, by replacing them with surprise European Club Champion winners "Liverpool". If it is then I like it  . "Spain" are my choice of winners this time, the only great footballing nation yet to win the World Cup. Failing Spain then Argentina.

I Predict Italy or France to win final, with Italy just having the edge. Can't see Germany or Holand getting to the semi's.

Not quite. I replaced them with liverpool because half the Spanish players play for Liverpool :P

BRAZIL all the way to final again for me...
I just cant see past them.

I'm surprised no-one has said England to win it yet!

If people are wanting to bet on England- a tip for you for free.
DONT DO IT

You wont win any cash- we always cock up- dont think we will win the world cup, it wont happen.

Liverpool in the world cup? :D Don't be stupid :P:hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

THis is my view on England's opponents

Sweden - Tough opposition, but a side we can beat. I don't rate them much more than Poland. A decent outfit but with our players they shouldn't trouble us. Although I see a draw as likely result between the 2 sides.

Paraguagy - Probably one of the tougher South American sides, but well with England grasp to beat

Trinidad- I would argue a tougher opponent than many people suspect, they'll be up for it thats for sure, probably this game will be the potential bannana skin for England.

To be honest I dont rate England`s chance, although they probably scrape through in 2nd place.

To win it , I fancy France, Italy haven`t done anything for a while, and an outsider in Togo :gag: .. who .. how did they quality

Argies look good - as do Brazil and Germany (as hosts) - I'll go for Argentina - England will be lucky to reach last 16..
