Anyone got green bad tasting water coming out of the taps who lives near Empire, Chippinghouse, Steade or Crescent road?
Pour a white bath full of water to see.
Ours was murky at 8 inches deep, green grey and bad tasting. This was before anyone got in the bath.
I phoned Yorkshire water (0845) 124 24 24 and told them. Commonly this will be caused by sediment, in this case disturbed by works at the corner of abbeydale and chippinghouse road.
I was advised not to drink it and to use bottled tap water for consumption until it clears up (approx 6 hrs allegedly). Yorkshire water confirmed that presented with receipts, they will reimburse anyone for costs ensued but it is best to ring them yourself!
