I've just had an offer accepted on a flat in Eckington but have now become a bit nervous after reading some 'not too pleasant' things about in on other threads.

Is it really bad or is it just hearsay?

Its hearsay. We lived there for about 18 years, and its fine, honestly. I am still in touch with my neighbour who has lived there about 30 years and she says it hasnt changed in the couple of years since I left. Dont worry. I never had any trouble, no theft nor vandalism, my kids were safe and as teens they didnt get into any trouble and were OK on their way home.

BTW what road is it? PM me if you like, I might be able to tell you a bit about it.

Its all hearsay. I've lived here years and never had any trouble nor has anyone else i know.
