hi

i have a little bit of a problem i have just had a site produced and have all the file and folder plus images on my harddrive

i have my own hosting and ftp connection is set up

when i upload the file the website can be viewed but the images are not displayed

i have checked that the images are filed correctly and and have the right filename and are in the correct location but the still dont work

i am using dreamweaver mx 04 and my hosting company is dls hosting

anybody have any advice

The path to your images is at fault, if you can show some of your code we will show you what it should be.

While in Dreamweaver press f10 this will bring up the source code your picture code should look something like " <IMG SRC="/images/Image3.jpg" WIDTH=174 HEIGHT=126> " hope this helps. You can right click to find what you want.:thumbsup:

If the hosting is linux hosting, it may be that the file permissions (who can view/read/edit) are messed up on either the images, or the directory they are in, i would suggest talking to your host to check this as it can be complicated to fix if you havent done it before...
