this is to ask help from anyone who lives on ecclesall road (banner cross end) with a car. We have been here since september and have been moving our car at bus lane times to somerfield. We are interested in where other people move their cars to, or how they avoid fines as we were given one by somerfield today! The other option seems to be moving it to side roads, but this seems a bit hit or miss as to whether there is space? we are moving in june, hopefully will get a garage, phew :)

We solved this problem by purchasing a house in Woodhouse

We were moving due to Mr Strix being offered a job in York - which has a much bigger parking problem than anywhere in Sheffield!

I live on one of the side streets off Greystones Road and it is a bit hit and miss but you will always find a space as long as you don't mind a 5 minute walk. (On Onslow/ Blair Athol Roads etc) Rather this than risk the fines....
