Iv already had a bit of response to this in someone elses thread, but I still want to know more. Im in an electric wheelchair and I want to go to Niche (obviously, only if it opens again) and im not so sure if this is a clever idea. Some of my mates go every weekend (well, did) but there not the kind of people id like to go with, they attract a lot of attention, if you get my drift. Iv been told by a couple of people on here I should just go, n maybe I should. But, Iv been told that some people arent very accepting of 'newcomers' and im not being funny, but I dont exactly blend into the background! Now, I dunno that might be a load of sh*t thats been made up by those people that think they know Niche inside n out, even though theyve never been, so I thought it might be worth asking you.

Whats your opinions?

Well when you turn 18 I gully recommend going. Im not too sure where you heard that newcomers arent exactly welcomed, but you wou wil be more than fine. Everybody in Niche just wants to enjoy themselves and you will be more than welcomed, there are some very friendly people in Niche.

If you do ever decide to go, you can let me know and Ill take care of you ;)

Hi, I go to Niche well have been before and its true really, it aint the place really for new comers if ya "face isnt known" as they say it can bring you alot of attention. Some people only go to Niche to cause trouble anyway so you might get an idiot who just wants to act "big" and sometimes if you aint with the right people could go horribly wrong. Dont get me wrong Niche music is great and its good if you "know the right people" but as ive been there and im aware of the atmosphere and people there i would not go unless your "known".
Your better off being "known" as they say because you always need someone to "watch your back" anyone could jump you anywhere in there and unless your "back is covered" it can be dangerous.
Plus the fact there is alot of drugs there anyway.

But i hate it that new people cant go just because of certain peole who like to cause "trouble".

Niche nightclub has recently been closed on police orders. It is likely that a court case will eventually determine whether or not it re-opens. I understand that the court hearing is approx 3 months away. So, your dilemma about visiting Niche or not is academic, at least for the moment.

I havent been but my mates went for the first time about 2 weeks ago.

It was just them 2, they danced had a laugh. But they did say they was bored of looking at the floor :hihi: (didn't want to give anyone eye contact, just incase)

But at 1am, they said they felt out of place, because they were the only ones with booze, whilst everyone else was on bottled water :hihi:

Im not sure where you get that from Mz Babe, I hear what you are saying, but ive never seen an atmosphere when it comes to 'newcomers'. Yes there are sometimes trouble makers, but thats the same anywhere really.

I think the best bet for Tessika would be to try it out and if doesnt like it, doesnt need to go again. :thumbsup:

That is true, a lot of newbies do feel like they have to look at the floor because of the things that people say about Niche, but I dont think they have to do this. Its just the impression people have about niche.

I've beeen a few times, not out of choice but got lots of mates who like the music. I did stick out too, (not one for wearing a tracksuit to goto a club)I recommend you go with people yr familiar with and that they are familiar with the club and know who to avoid, etc,
If all you want is a good time you will get just that!
You definatly need to loose your niche virginity and make your mind up on the place!!

If it does re-open go and have some fun, Most of the people in there only want a good time and do just that, but like everywhere you will get the odd tw*t.

Niche is a good place to go out and have a good time but only if you know the right people thats how i feel anyway. Im ok there becuase i know a bouncer or 2 and lots of people that go there but for a new face it is a hard place to show ya face. I would not tell anyone not to go because the more the merrier (sorry for spelling) but i would just advice that new people are very careful.Most people only drink bottle water because they all pillin.

Not sure i know the exact 'right' people, but i no lots of people who go - went - to niche who im pretty sure fit into the 'right people to know' category! Not sure id choose to go with them tho, i dont like to be the centre of attention! Il probably end up goin with a group of girls who i know want to go aswell. (il let the right people know im there, they can watch over me like guardian angels - my god, i sound like im goin on a mission to mars, not a bloody nightclub)

Dont you think your over analysing the whole thing just a little to much there? I only started this thread cos I had a question about Niche that im 99.9% sure no ones asked before! And the Niche threads iv red seem pretty different to me, though they all end up with people tryin to slag Niche off when they ant even been... :confused:

I do believe that everyone is making a big deal out of nothing. It is not that bad and nobodys going to get in to trouble simply for being new there. Go and find out if you like it you either will or wont, if you don't then there is no need to go again. It may not even re-open yet. Maybe we should all organise to go together :thumbsup:

anyone can go to niche! people dont care about who goes,just ppl who are looking 4 trouble, the 1st time i went it was a brilliant experience! every1 is pretty friendly to be honest! yea,u do get to know familiar faces but that just makes it all the more a great atmosphere! hoping it reopens! miss it so much! (fri nights at limit ok at mo but wish niche wud reopen!)

I used to love Niche! And I don't know what all this rubbish is about being a 'new face'.

So ok, maybe I got a few green eyed wimmin' treading on my toes and trying to elbow me off the dance floor :cool: but you know what, stuff them. A big smile and no aggressive attitude is all you need. The biggest problem I'd get sometimes was the space to dance if I was on the main dancefloor bit. :)
