Hi All
My friend is down from Aberdeen and is on the pull. She wants to meet hairy men, in leather with piercings. Where do they hang out in Sheffield????? Pubs or clubs or anything gratefully received.
Thank You

The Classic Rock bar at the bottom of ecclesall road might be a good bet ...

You could also check out the Corporation and the Casbah.

Anywhere in Ecclesall really - they can usually be found cleaning their cars on a Sunday morning and chatting to neighbours.:)

As you very well know, the pub does not open until 6pm, which is why I've said it's OK to park your car in the car park. The motorbikes zoom in and out throughout the evening.

In the warmer weather we have bikers who meet up regularly at the pub and just about every evening consists of leather jackets and long haired customers.

Cool :D

I wouldn't want to wear a leather jacket in warm weather though :P

Depending on the age required from your rock blokes - casbar friday night downstairs, but I must say time's taken its toll on those old rockers - guts and whispy hair everywhere..

Corporation's a bit younger, The new big room's still rock on Fridays but the old big room has now gone decidedly 'Leadmill'. Saturday has a room for everyone, and very recommended.

What did happen to all those people who used to go to the Devonshire now there are no real pubs left, even the Washington doesn't seem to get much of a turn out these days. Don't tell me - they're all going to the Classic Rock bar!

unfortunately I've been outvoted this weekend and have to endure indie adventures in the Leadmill this Saturday, so no metal for me :-(

Never been in the CRB.

Will it suit a 22 year old who wishes he was David Lee Roth?

Probably.

Wouldn't suit a 54 year old who wishes he was at a Dog show though (me Dad, took him with me to the last meet, he couldn't get out of there fast enough, said it was too loud bless 'im)

Blimey, and it was quiet at the beginning of the meet with only the pre recorded music playing. Admittedly the rock band were a tad louder!

The best places...

Corp Mon + Fri - there's a typical mix of Rock, old-school (ie decent) hiphop, bit of Ska, there's a "heavier" room where the leather clad ones usually congregate.

Casbah - look out for the "dark city festival" - they roll around every once in a while + are meant to be pretty good.

Corp Sat - Gothic upstairs, crazy hair + leather downstairs is about the way i'd describe it. Once turned up there with some mates in shirts cuz we'd been out for a meal...interesting evening!! They play everything from Live Iron Maiden tracks to Dream Theater, lots of Van Halen, Alice Cooper etc. it's a quality evening!

there were many aging and a few younger rockers in the devonshire cat last night, pre corp I presume.
