I have a compaq 2.2ghz pc with 768 memory, 80 gig hard drive, dvd and cd-rw drives, 64mb geforce graphics, 15" tft monitor.
What would i need to upgrade to make my pc really good and get better performance?

more ram, larger hard drive (maybe 2), better graphics card
if you want to upgrade the processor to a 3mhz processor or above then you have to be careful otherwise you may have to buy a whole new motherboard and ram aswell as the processor, depending on the type
also depending on your cd/dvd drive/s you could buy 1 with added features, faster reading/writing , more formats supported

I don't need a new pc lmfao, you're funny bikertec :loopy:
First thing Id replaceis that gfx card. Geforce 4s are outdated now, and the MX series was never any good to start with.

Your 80gig drive is going to be a bottle neck for data. 768meg ram What ?????. CDrw is something belonging to a museum now. From what I can see only good thing is you monitor. now who's laughing.

Noone can give you advice unless they know what you use your pc for. do you play games, if so what type? do you listen to music, watch films, decode avi's? What programs do you use?? do you burn dvd's etc..
depending on your answers you will need to upgrade different parts of your pc. whats your buget?
if you dont play games your graphics card is fine. I dont use my pc for games so my radeon 9500 is more than enough.
give us more information and we can give you relevent answers.
