Jah Shaka runs the most famous dub roots sound system in the world. He is the man who in the early 1970's kicked off the whole sound system culture in this country. From then till now he has stayed true to his Rastafarian roots, avoiding slack and disrespectful lyrics, gaining love and respect from all cultures throughout the world. Its 33 years since he last played Sheffield so this is a very special event. As Shaka says 'some people dream through their eyes. I dream through my ears.'

bugger pity i cant get down, saw jah shaka at the leadmill back int he very early 90s, the bass was so loud mi mate chucked up over the barrier lol

i saw him in sheff, see above, hm cant find it in my gig book so dont know an exact date but i definitely saw jah shaka at the leadmill, early 90s:P
