View Full Version : Harison vs Williams the big fight Zinger549 07-12-2005, 10:52 the fight is on saturday at 9 pm on itv1 so who do you think will win *Ryan* 07-12-2005, 11:52 I think Williams will win, but not sure really, as Harrison is big and strong and he may be a surprise. ;) Macca 07-12-2005, 11:57 I hope Williams takes his head off. spyro2000 07-12-2005, 19:23 Im going for a Williams win yer_get_meh 08-12-2005, 00:30 Audley has too much for Danny, will win by a KO, if Danny turns up! vidster 08-12-2005, 00:47 Depends which Danny Williams turns up for me... Danny #1 Doesn't turn up. Broke his nail while washing pots. Danny #2 Turns up to be used as target practice like against Sinan Samil Sam. Danny #3 The awesome alter-ego going by the same name who obliterated Julius Francis and Mike Tyson. If Danny #3 turns up, Ordinary Harrison has no chance. Any of the others and Ordinary wins :( I'd have liked to see Ordinary v Skelton. Skelton would wipe the floor with him IMO. Lickszz 08-12-2005, 01:46 Williams is a very lazy fighter. Lets hope he comes in under 270. His best chance IMO is to put Harrison under pressure from the off. I think that Harrison will play it safe and jab Williams for the duration with the occasional left cross and take it on a UD. As for Skelton. He is strong and durable but as soon as he comes up against anyone with a decent skill level then he will be in trouble. pk014b7161 10-12-2005, 07:33 Originally posted by yer_get_meh Audley has too much for Danny, will win by a KO, if Danny turns up! i agree i think harrison will knock williams out dishwasher 10-12-2005, 09:42 Harrison has to win otherwise his career is over. But is he up to it? Macca 10-12-2005, 09:51 I'm not flaming, but does anyone actually care about Audrey anymore? spyro2000 10-12-2005, 10:37 Originally posted by liencam I'm not flaming, but does anyone actually care about Audrey anymore? hmmm, yes, I think you have hit the nail on the head there. In fact does anyone care about boxing in general anymore? Ive started to find boxing very boring nowadays. Gone are the days on saturday fught night live. I used to love boxing but its been killed off. pk014b7161 10-12-2005, 13:59 it shows what the heavyweight scene is like not knocking em got to have guts to get in a ring but can you imagine these against the really good opposition im not talking of men on a downward spiral but men up for it. these two wouldnt have beat bruno or bugner in my humble opinion vidster 10-12-2005, 17:35 Originally posted by pk014b7161 it shows what the heavyweight scene is like not knocking em got to have guts to get in a ring but can you imagine these against the really good opposition im not talking of men on a downward spiral but men up for it. these two wouldnt have beat bruno or bugner in my humble opinion Or indeed the great Lenny Mclean pk014b7161  I don't know which way to call it tonight. Am i even bothered? Ohh yeah, i'd love to see Ordinary get a pasting but what/who next? Haseem Rahman? Oohh... Big draw there :suspect: MTheo 10-12-2005, 19:32 im looking forward to this..but cant say either fighter really inspires me to be that excited. audrey is quite dull... he to me is the (former) arsenal of the boxing world...does what needs to be done to win in the most boring way he can. ah well. lets see what happens. spyro2000 10-12-2005, 21:27 whoooooooooooooooooooooooooos yer Daddy   Get in there Danny. Crap fight but Danny done the job  :partyhat: :headbang: Zinger549 10-12-2005, 21:30 Originally posted by spyro2000 whoooooooooooooooooooooooooos yer Daddy   Get in there Danny. Did You see Naz? Who's eaten all the pies I wonder! Strix 10-12-2005, 21:36 Wasn't that the worst pair of shorts ever? What did that brown splodge down the back look like? Ally68 10-12-2005, 21:40 Originally posted by Strix Wasn't that the worst pair of shorts ever? If thats all the country has at heavyweight, forget it - Amir Khan is a better fighter and entertainer - Harrison should retire NOW - he's been proved to be a joke and no one should have to pay to watch him faff around. notrecoach87 10-12-2005, 21:49 what a dissapointin fight, nothing really to comment on, Williams had the Agression n Harrison didn't want to know n it ruined the game MTheo 10-12-2005, 22:33 Originally posted by barnie41 Williams the slightly better of two real poor fighters. If that had been Matt Skelton in the ring, Ordinary would have been out cold within 5 rounds. Cliff Clavin 11-12-2005, 05:08 Ordinary Audrey as been proved to be the Fraudley he his  pk014b7161 11-12-2005, 06:34 Originally posted by vidster The heavyweight division is a joke these days  If these two clowns are the best we have then we are fooked! He said after the decision was given that he'd just had a bad fight, but I think it's something more fundamental than that. The Williams fight was his chance to prove he was genuinely world class. But he couldn't do it. He's currently based in Las Vegas, surrounded by a very expensively-assembled training camp. If his star is on the wane, will he be able to afford its upkeep? Probably not. Not on undercard money. |
