Glasgow Rangers last night drew 1 - 1 with Inter Milan to be the first ever Scottish team to progress to the last 16 of the Champions league.

Hooray! At least something has happened this season!

Nothing special, they will be out come the next round anyway. Mark my words.

Why is it that the Champions League does not find the best team in Europe?

Liverpool had their worst seson in the Premiership for a very long time last season and won the Champions League. This season Arsenal are doing really well in Europe and having their worst Premiership Season for some time.

Now Rangers are even looking unlikely to finish in the top 2 in Scotland and they qualify through the group stage in Champions League.

Well thanks for that wealth of positivity.

Is a wee "well done" such a stretch?

Apparently Celtic fans want them to get Barcelona in the draw.

This is so they can fly out to Spain and sit with the Barca fans in their Larsson shirts.

Top stuff!!!

:D

Try telling fans of teams not in the Champions League that qualifying for the next round is nothing special...it's a lot more than most other Bristish teams can claim
Well done Rangers

Well it goes without saying that have done well to qualify, but I don't think they need me to say "well done" to them!

I'm just saying it doesn't mean they are one of the best 16 teams in Europe. I'd probably put them just outside the top 50.

But last season I'd have put Liverpool at about 20th at the very best and they won.
