I can't afford it and I'm gutted. Would really really really liked to have gone. Boo

Anyone got a spare ticket they'd like to donate to a good cause? It is nearly Christmas...

Worth a try!

Just got back, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The one drawback was the plecks who insisted on standing in front of the wheelchair users, blocking the view of the stage, and the performance.

I didn't pay to watch the back of folks' jackets.... (rant over)

Deborah Harry was on fine form, and looking amazingly good for her years... lol

I said to Mark, "Bl**dy H*ll, I'd kill for legs like those!"

Enjoyed the songs... was a little sad that she didn't perform "Denis" and "(always touched by your presence) dear"

a great night!

That was a great show!!!!

Gosh, the lady knows how to fill a stage with presence. I was never really into Blondie that much, but went along with a committed fan (or should be committed :D ) But by half way through I was jigging about with the rest of them... then three quaters of the way through I had to have a bit of a sit down. (old bones).
Then I jumped back up after Rapture for the best bit! : One way or another, Atomic, Heart of Glass.

Brilliant! I will be playing her best of album now.

(My committed friend is sat here sighing; "I can't believe we've been in the same room as Blondie")

The Keyboard player was nice ;)

Deavon...

Mark says that he thinks "Plastic Letters" was their best album...

I will have to purchase said album PT.

For anyone who may be interested, my (rather committed or should be committed) friend has written a little review (http://www.geocities.com/andysworld78/blog.html) on his web site.

Bless

I was there too and it was faaaabulous. Still freaks me a bit that I've not only been in the same room as Deborah Harry (loved the group since I was a kid and never thought I'd see them live), but also in the company of several forummers. Happy days....:)

*boast*

me and Mark got a "wave" from her (Milady Deborah of Harry, that is!!!!)

/*boast*

yeah, I have to say I think she's definitely still got it, even at sixty. (I might be a female, but I have always thought she was gorgeous, I always wanted to look like her...)

I mean, they do say sixty is the new forty, don't they?

Ok, so she's had a nip here, and a tuck there, but god! She looked good for her age.

I decided to get tickets for me and Mark, because I thought "You know, it could be the last chance we could ever get to get to see her on tour, we can't miss this opportunity!"

I'm so glad we managed to get to see the gig.

I went on Friday too - was so good and Tide is High will always be a fave of mine!!

Does anyone know the tall guy who was jumping up and down like a nutter at the front of the stage. Had a black tshirt on with white writing on it.....he really looked like he enjoyed it!
