I would like to propose that we next meet at the Classic Rock Bar on Sunday 21st March from 3pm onwards.

I can provide another buffet.....or should I say that Sass will do this!

If you check out the 'Notices' section you'll see I've listed the bands that are playing to date in the pub. Nothing is booked yet for the evening of this date, but I'm sure we'll have something arranged by then.....failing that we'll get a quiz on for you all again. I don't plan to have flu that day (unlike last week) and hope to be able to physically join in this time, rather than just float in the background.

Sunday still seems like a popular time to come down but if there is any strong feeling against it then lets discuss.

Everyone is welcome, from new beginners on this board to the old relics!

I'm gonna try and get there this time. I was gutted to miss the last one. Anyone browsing the Forum... should take a second to realise that these meets are excellent and I've only been once. Really cool place and really cool people (oh and some funky ginger ones too!)

Forum meetings are always fun in my world, the only problem being that a Monday follows a Sunday (Hangover on a school day) although I have no better suggestions....

Hey there is more than one person taking photos !

You'll find that there is usually a lot of good humor in a crb meet, get to put names to faces [ see crb links on www.rtapper.plus.com ] and generally have a good time. Some people however do things that they dont remember until they see photos the next day :P

Oh, and i wont be taking my cam out of pocket at the next meet unless people want their photo taking - no random pics or videos this time :thumbsup:

Might be an idea to move it to either the sunday previous or the sunday after so as everyone stays on their mum's good side ;)

Hmm, 28th... might have to have a word with me Dad about that, see if he's Dog showing or not so as I can find out whether or not I'll be able to codge a lift down or have to bus it.

I'd rather not bus it, cos even though the CRB is on both the major bus routes from Stannington, the 82 and 83/83A, I just don't trust the buses to not leave me stranded given the limited service on Sundays.

Agree with Jamie. Have asked before for no photos to be put on site, and they were and i am not the only one this has affected.

I have to agree with Fuzzy and Jamie I dont want my pic took either.I dont see why pics should be taken its like fuzzy says if ppl want to know what we look like they should come,I for one felt on edge at the start of the night and did feel like I was constantly checking if a camera was pointing my way .I have a very good reason for not wanting my face plastering on this site apart from the fact im bog ugly (said it for you !)I could be put at risk if anyone was to see these pics , why is a personal matter.I just hope I dont see anyone pointing a camera my way all we want to do is have a laugh and relax please!

I usually say arrive from 3pm. If you are the first and look vulnerable, don't worry, I'll be floating around to be the hostess, Mick will be on the bar in some sort of fancy dress outfit and Sass, biiiiig guy will be about too. I'll make sure the sniffing gingers will be there.

Was a good afternoon/evening and despite being occassionally kicked by SIH ;) and generally abused for drinking Lime and Soda.. I had a good time..

The band that was playing wasn't bad either... and I have to say there were a couple of attractive young peeps there too.. although true to form I didn't say hi... *cue: chicken wings*...

Am gutted i didn't make it!
Went out for birthday on saturday and didn't crawl into bed till 8am. I couldn't have got out of it again even if my life depended upon it! Hope all had a good time.

Well looks like I did it again yep I was hammered but as usual had a laff COOL! I dont know how me and my sis got home but I do remember dancing in the chinese and taking my shoe off to show the rather tasty 17 year old chinese boy !!I WAS FORCED by kats to give him a kiss for some extra chips and bingo it worked.I can also remember coming online did i insult anyone I cant remember sorry if I did .Anyway I'll see you all next month thats for sure and JAM AND BREAD next time I will put my trademark on you !!:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
