Here's a preview into what we have in store for you at Aprils Feedback session. As of 2011, joining Aggers, Fychu, Nu-Shot, Universal Minds & Venja; Feedback is pleased to announce and launch DJ Fierce (Quarantine Recordings), Cause 4 Concern (C4C Recordings), Survival (Audio Tactics), and the legendary MC E-LL as new residents. Also the mighty Dose & Cern will be playing us their unique sounds from New Zealand - making a truly all star huge line up for Sheffield to rave to on Bank Holiday Saturday 30th April.

With a plethora of well received releases on labels including Creative Source, Exit Records, DNAudio, Quarantine, Critical and Shogun, Survival’s deep, organic sound has rapidly earned him a reputation as one of the true craftsmen of modern drum & bass.
Collaborations with D-Bridge, Break, Silent Witness, Fierce, Sabre and Alix Perez clearly illustrate the respect he commands from his peers. With his Audio Tactics label providing a focused outlet for his productions and a highly anticipated debut album recently completed for dBridge's Exit Records, his fan base is expanding as rapidly as his discography.
DOSE || Commercial Suicide
Hailing from New Zealand, now London based, Chris Truman aka Dose first got into drum and bass in Christchurch around the year 2000.
Dose's productions were first discovered in late 2006 by DJ Optiv (Cause 4 Concern) who released Dose`s first 12" on Red Light recordings. Since then Dose has released various remix’s, collaborations and original works on such labels as Commercial Suicide, Renegade Hardware and Samurai music to name a few.
His hard hitting, high energy and hypnotic signature sound has been supported by a wide range of established international artist’s such as Noisia, DJ Friction, Dieselboy, Andy C, Klute, The Upbeats, State of mind & many more which in turn has made the Dose sound a regular on dance floors around the globe.
Building on his already extremely successful & fruitful discography, 2011 sees Dose further his profile with an onslaught of solo 12" releases, namely on Dieselboy's Human Imprint, Dj Presha's Samurai music and remix’s for Jade & Optiv. 2011 will also see the launch of his own record label Prescription Audio, which will be the main outlet to accommodate the progression of the Dose sound.
Having DJed for over 8 years and toured countless gigs across Australasia & Europe his on point, high energy and creative mixing skills are sought after internationally and with 2011 showing no remorse dose’s contagious sound is looking to spread even further.
CERN
The name CERN has quickly become a globally recognized entity within the world of D&B. Having released tracks on many of the scenes leading labels including the UK's Renegade Hardware, Critical, Cyanide Recordings and Samurai Music, collaborations soon arose with names like Loxy, Logistics, Sabre, Phace & Misanthrop, and close friends Bulletproof, Teknik and Concord Dawn. He soon began gaining attention from some of the scenes leading players with the Cern sound being described by the legendary Virus co-founder Ed Rush as " the kind of music that you know u can listen to 2-3 years down the track and it still sounds good." Cern's tunes have been getting heavy support from the likes of Teebee & dBridge to Logistics & Gridlok, while still getting play elsewhere, receiving support from legendary Techno DJ/Producer Laurent Garnier.
It’s fair to say that Ollie Cern has transgressed the realm of one time bedroom producer, to one of pure world-class stature. Following his 2009 debut “Mania EP” on Concord Dawns “Uprising” imprint, it came as no surprise that his next move was to produce the very first full length Cern LP. “Terminus” is an album that encapsulates the Cern sound wholeheartedly. When asked of the concept behind the album, Ollie describes "Terminus" as “an album that takes its roots from Techstep and funk driven D&B,” going on to say “the album reflects the inspiration gained from his long standing admiration for producers like Ed Rush & Optical, Matrix, Konflict and Source Direct”, incorporating the sound they represented at a time, in his opinion, when Drum & Bass was “at its peak”.
With plans to re-locate to Europe early in 2011, Ollie is looking forward to unveiling his new sound, new vibe and personal endeavors worldwide. Terminus is a world-class album, seamlessly crafted by a world-class producer. Moments in time captured in musical form. A true testament to his ability as a musician and a first had insight into one of New Zealand’s finest dance music producers.
