They obviously havn't invented an automatic spelling and English grammar checker yet.

So the answer is No.

I agree, I believe people should throw out their coimputers, do all the little calculations by hand and send each other data by tapping out ones and zeros in morse code (if that in itself is not too technologically advanced)

Geoff is going to be very busy stapping out Sheffield Forum Pages to 300 users at a time. The page load time could go up a bit.

like what, i've got the day off and i'm finding plenty to do.
If only technology was advanced enough to tidy the house, insulate the cellar and load and unload the washing machine for me.
Oh, and make me some lunch, just like on star trek, that would be just advanced enough for me.

Yet to find any technology which will alone do:

My laundry .. (picking it off the floor, wash it, iron it and put it away)

Cook - (microwaves just kill food so don't count)

Wipe my ...

Explain to a 10 year old the reason he needs to be able to do mental arithmatic and understand the theory of long divison.

the list goes on....

Why not flip the question onto the human element:

"Are we too slow to keep pace with technological advancment?"

We all have PCs, mobile and cable tv; but there are still some people who can't wire a plug!

Should we make a more concerted effort to keep our fingers on the pulse?

Would it mean we got ripped off by those in the know who sell us these marvels of modern technology?
