Hi, I am an Student of German and English literature from Austria, my mother tongue is German, but I speak English more or less fluently.
I'd like to find a summer job from mid June till about end of August or mid of September.
Do you have any general suggestions for me. I have experiences in working as a German tutor, working as a concierge and general office working things.
It would be great to find something in a field, where I could make use of my German skills, but I am also interested in any other suggestion for summer jobs.
For any suggestions please mail to:

If you get in there early (register a month or so before you want to start work as they get busy with students working in summer) a Recruitment Agency would be your best bet, they often have office-y jobs and you can start/stop when you like. There are loads in Sheffield, check out the phone book or have a wander round near the Cathedral in town centre ('Personnel Services' on Leopold St are good too). Plus you can let them know about your langauge skills and you never know, they might be able to match you up with an employer that wants that sort of thing.

Try the Jobcentre. They advertise jobs for summer. Bailey Court on West Street, or Cavendish Court on Bank Street
