A stolen silver ford focus has just smashed into our garden wall and demolished it!

The three scum bags inside ran off (one of them a bit dazed apparantly) down Furnace Lane towards Woodhouse Mill. Description: 3 youngish lads (16ish) dressed in black, one hoody, one quite fat.

Police confirmed the keys for the car (and car) was stolen in a burglary two weeks ago.

Fortunately no-one was walking along the footpath at the time or they would have been killed.

If anyone knows anything about the three scum-bags who have smashed this car up please PM me or contact the police. Ta.

Maybe this could be the same car that was set on fire on Stone Lane opposite Woodhouse West School. Was jogging with my dad and we noticed it so I called the fire brigade.

hope you find the scum that did this to your wall.

The car has just been taken away. Police are apparantly quite busy tonight so they couldn't get here straight away. But they weren't too long.

A neighbour who saw it happen gave chase but was unable to keep up with the lads.

The wall is very badly damaged a good couple of yards totally flattened. Police said we'll have to pay for it ourselves

Any friendly builder on here fancy a wall building job? :(

Not got very good descriptions i'm afraid. The 'hoody' one had his head covered. One of them lost a hat, the police found it at the side of the car.

They were speeding, down Station Road and started to lose control of the vehicle as they went round the corner outside the Station Pub. The swerved all over the road and eventuall lost control and slammed side-on into our wall. Whoever was on the passenger side (the larger lad) was in a bit of a dazed state (not surprising). The car reeked of alchohol.

A similar sort of thing happened to my parents recently but his house insurance stumped up for it.

We were broken into not long after we moved into the house and had to claim of the insurance. Then Gary went for a game of golf with a friend and their car was broken into and the golf clubs stolen when they stopped off for a drink on the way home - another claim. Then, we had another claim we had to make wich resulted in our policy 'excess' being raised to something like £350 for the next three years. :suspect:

My daughter has e-mailed me with details of somewhere that may cover costs where an accident happens and the driver is un-insured or un-traced. Going to look into that.

OMG!!!!!

Are you okay Hels? Not suffering from shock I hope :(

I was just reading the Depoix's 'Corsa' thread when I heard something similar to the usual raquet that usually accompanies the appearance of one particular corsa around here. Knew there was no point in going to look, as I'd probably only get a glimpse of tail lights at most. Thought I heard the helicopter earlier too :suspect:

There's no justice is there? if i were unlucky enough to have a bump at any sort of speed i'd be hurt, yet you hardly ever hear of these little gits getting hurt do you? Sadly the Police won't catch them- probably won't even try 'cos they'll never get a conviction...

My mum and dad have had a couple of cars nicked over the years, and my mum just wished them dead.

Hels, it could be worse........

I remember a story a year or so ago where a drunk driver lost control of his car and ploughed into the front of a house - bloke got a years ban.

12 months later,a car crashed into the SAME house and guess what ?

You got it - the same drink driver !

Dont know what he got that time though.

Oh Hels- sending you a huge hug, and hoping that you can find a way to rid yourself of the fury that you must feel at the mo.

Can't say anythings truly helpful, for that I'm sorry. Hope that you can get the damage repaired without having to ruin the family finances to do it.

Hels, speak to your insurance company straight away. They will be able to trace the insurance company of the people who had their car stolen. You should be able to claim for your wall from their insurance rather than your own. :)

I know this because it happened to me when some idiot stole my car and crashed it through a wall in Parson Cross; the wall owner was able to claim on my insurance.

Hope you're okay and not too shaken!

Does anybody know if this is related to the tyre marks all over the school playing fields that were cordened off with police tape on Saturday (allegedly, according to the guy delivering new our furniture)
