Hi, want to use a small electric heater when I work in a corner of my room so I dont need to turn on my gas heater all the time. Can anyone give me some advice on how to choose a good heater in terms of energy saving? Is that less kW output means less electricity consumption? (Sorry sounds silly but I have no knowledge about about this) Should I choose one with thermostat? Thanks a lot

Er, isn't the gas one going to be cheaper to run?

If it's central heating, get your rad valves swapped for thermostatic ones so you can control the temp room by room
