From The Jam
Friday 20 May 2011
Building 21, Elsecar Heritage centre
Doors 7.30pm

The Jam's Greatest Hits performed by Bruce Foxton.
The Jam had amazing chart success with 18 singles and 7 albums to make the Top 40 in the United Kingdom between 1977 and 1982.
From The Jam gained an immediate reputation for the kind of incendiary ‘live’ performances that sealed the reputation of The Jam all those years ago.
The first single release by From The Jam – ‘Later Day’ is now available via download. 2010 is also the 30th Anniversary of the release of ‘Sound Affects’ by The Jam and From The Jam’s Bruce Foxton has been working with Paul Weller on the sleeve notes for the release, following Bruce’s’ ecstatically received guest appearance at Wellers Albert Hall show.
Drummer Rick Buckler left FTJ in 2009, but the band now include a Special Guest, founder member of BIG COUNTRY, MARK BRZEZICKI in place of Rick.

Tickets are priced £22.50 (plus booking fee) and are available from Elsecar Heritage Centre and the Civic (01226 327000, www.barnsleycivic.co.uk)
